East Lake Tohopekaliga is located in Osceola County, Florida. It is located adjacent to its sister lake, Lake Tohopekalinga. The lake is known for it's clear water, often visible up to 10 feet deep. Activities frequently enjoyed on the lake include fishing and boating.
There are also a number of local parks that surround the lake providing ample outdoor activities for lake goers. At the southern end of the lake, St. Cloud's Lakefront Park offers visitors recreation and amenities. Some conveniences include a splash pad, playground, picnic pavilions and tables, volleyball court, boat ramp, sand beach area, fishing pier, marina, and a performing arts pavilion. The boat ramp has 3 lanes and can accommodate parking for up to 20 trailers. There is a bike path and grass walking path for visitors who enjoy cycling, walking, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park also provides a banquet hall for up to 210 people.
On the east side of the lake sits the 150 acre Ralph V. Chisholm Park. It offers picnic pavilions, playground, ball fields, volleyball area, beach area, boat ramp and approximately two miles of hiking and horse trails. The boat ramp, like the St. Cloud's Lakefront Park boat ramp, has 3 lanes and unimproved parking for up to 20 trailers.
For lake visitors that are fond of golfing, there are two golf courses that border the lake. Kissimmee Bay Country Club and Remington Golf Club are sure to satisfy any golfer.
